Sorry for the lack of update dear family, friends and blog readers! Time has really flown by. The scorching summer weather is almost over. We are looking forward to cooler weather. It will be nice to be able to take the kids out for walks. It feels like we can hardly do outdoor things, not that I am a very outdoor type person but I want Elliott and Allison to enjoy the outdoor more.
Allison is now 2.5 month old. At her two-month check-up, she weighed 14 lbs and 24.25 inches long. She loves to smile and coo when talked to. Allison seems to be a more laid-back baby than how Elliott was at this stage. She is content when she is full and has gotten her sleep. She rather sits in the bouncer looking at us than being held in the arms, which is pretty awesome because we can do SO much more like playing with Elliott, chores, eat at the table together, etc. She is very alert and awake during the day and knows her bedtime to be around 8 pm. She is sleeping long-stretch starting week 7. Jerry and I are so thankful for getting good sleep. I still dream of sleeping in though but I technically could if I go to bed at 8 pm, too!
Elliott is a very sweet and good brother. He likes to give kisses to his sister and bounces her on the chair when she cries. I hope he becomes a protective brother that I wanted when I was little. I often scratch my head thinking of activities he could do at home. He seems to be bored being home. His favorite activity is splashing in the pool. He completely lights up whenever he tells us about the pool.
